Miss Universe 2010

I saw d whole Miss Universe pageant 2010 live yesterday on nbc...it ws quite entertaining and good time pass for 2 hours. Though I predicted quite early tht miss Mexico wuld walk wid d crown (almighty me..??)..naaaah..coz of d past trend...frm last 2 years miss Venezuela was tkin d glory n this time also it was touted sme Latin American wuld only walk the fame..(though miss Ireland was a fav..nd couldn't agree more..she ws gorgeous..but seldom d most obvious wins it fr real)..as fr Miss India..when I saw her in d national costume round..I kind of knew she so deservedly wouldn't be in Top 15.. she wore a dress inspired by our national bird ..peacock..nd she looked like quite a birdie only..:)...india losing its hold on beauty pageants or the biggies of cosmetics have already made their inroads into the markets of india..nd our on their way to explore newer ventures??hmmm.....bt in mexico people are very passionate about beauty pageants and thought that d previous miss universe frm mexico(who won in 1991) had left some curse n do not wnt to lose her crown to someone else..must now be relived...:)..nd I thought only Indians are superstitious ...we have a competition here too..lol...
