America's Next Model

Yesterday watched the finale of America's Next Model. The winner was not an obvious choice (Chelsey was better then Ann in terms of the whole package and Personality).. But I think what Tyra Banks is trying to emphasise even with her chat shows is " Beauty is relative".. Ann has been all through her life ridiculed for being extra tall and different. She grew up being conscious about her and people's perception..Probably that use to come very often in her performances. Her straight face with eyes bulging..not sure of herself..But with this winning she would be able to believe in herself more and I am sure would do better and better..As for Chelsey she already is a model and the whole world is already more then ready to endorse her :)..Having said that I do feel the hype is too much around "Beauty is skin deep" n all . Beauty is also skin deep. But the outer appearance does count. When you see a beautiful face you feel happy and appreciate it. I think this should be left at this space , in spite of all the hoopla surrounding it.
